Friends,
Thank you so much for visiting the Red, White and Blue Blog Hop, Day 1. I have 5 blocks to show you.
First up is a pinwheel block with a little star applique to be festive.
Next up is a string block. It looks like a star in the middle to me, but I believe it is called a broken spider web block.
I wanted something that looked nautical so I made this block up. I am pretty sure there is no real flag like this so I am making it the Patricia Flag. No need to pledge allegiance, but feel free to follow my blog. Wink.
This block is called ET Phone Home and it is from Lily's Quilts. It was a fun block to make. You can find it on Lynne's blog.
This is the final block. It similar to the first block, but it has a star and a heart, because I loved participating in this blog hop.
My thanks to Jane and all the other very talented blog stop hostesses. The Red, White and Blue Blog Hop master list can be found on Jane's blog.
Here is the rest of today's Red, White and Blue Ladies:
Mary on Lake Pulaski
Hot Pink Peonies
VroomansQuilts
piece peace--You are here.
The Cuddle Quilter
Marcia's Crafty Sewing and Quilting
Wishing you piece peace!

My Ghastlie Family
This is my first Blog Hop, and I love The Ghastlies, so as you can imagine I am very excited. Without further ado, I would like to introduce to you my Ghastlie family.
These are the Ghastlie girls...starting from top left and clockwise, yours truly, Mrs. Gooden Ghastlie, "A" Ghastlie, "V" Ghastlie and "L" Ghastlie.
Next up, Mr. Gooden Ghastlie
Here is a close up of Mr. Ghastlie's tie. He is off to earn money to keep his Ghastlie Girls from sucking him dry...
...or driving him batty.
Afterpre-school pre-ghoul, the girls lounge in the family room dungeon. Here is a close up of "A" Ghastlie's apron top. It is a pattern from the book, "Little Girls, Big Style".
Here is what the back looks like as worn by "L" Ghastlie.
"V" Ghastlie is all about the black cats like Sebastian and herbestie beastie friend, Prudence. Her blouse is from the book, "Making Children's Clothes".
I had to put in this most ghastlie picture of myself asking Mr. Ghastlie if this wrap made me look fat. He knew if he answered incorrectly he would be dearly departed.
Finally, here is our Ghastlie Cat making better use of my wrap.
Please make sure to leave a comment to be eligible to win some fab prizes courtesy of Madame Ghastlie herself from Sew I Quilt
